It’s crazy that this is our 6th drop and so far we haven’t hooked you up with an outfit in ‘Wood Orange’, so here it is.

First up is the Acrobat Polo (£50) from Lyle & Scott, sync that with a pair of ILL Air Max Safari’s (£85) from Nike and job done right?

Wrong, you know you need some crispy clean denim to go with a look like that, so let us introduce you to these 2RRB Tapered Regular Dry Jeans (£65) from Wrangler.

Next up this week we have a summer filled Mishka x Reebok extravanganza!

Starting with the fitted (as is often the best thing to do when matching your outfit) we have the Ressurection New Era from Mishka (RRP £35), which also has the added bonus of going with pretty much anything you own already, look at all that colour!

However we have picked out another piece from Mishka to go with it, in the shape of the Watch Dog Polo (£49)… This is seriously the tealest of all the Teal pieces we have ever seen, so if Teal is your thing, get stuck in!

It’s Monday once again and that can only mean one thing… Matching Mondays!

First up this week we have a cheeky little combo for you, this one is for those of you who like to leave that button up shirt unbuttoned for that classic casual summer vibe… The shirt in question is this very fresh Townshend Plaid Check Shirt, from Mishka (£69)… We’re generally suckers here for anything in the overly streetwear ‘Seafoam’ colour-way and this time is no different, this is a beautiful shirt!

Underneath that bad boy we have picked out the Munko Tee from The Hundreds (£30), which works beautifully with the shirt above, working the seafoam and yellow perfectly…

One of our first drops for AW09 is another new brand at Wood, in the shape of San Fransico’s COMUNE.

COMUNE was formed from the idea that there will always be people out there who not only embrace the rawness and imperfections of everyday life but to use it to creatively push the boundaries of what’s possible in skateboarding, fashion, art and music their own way, with complete disregard of the consequences.

Exhibition Opening: Sat 22nd August – 5PM @ Contact Theatre

Bami Adedoyin and Yako 440 Prodis are a wife and husband team from Brooklyn New York, USA. Both artists believe in nurturing individuality while building commonality in their relationship, functioning much like a couplet does in poetry. The lines can stand on their own, or work together. The two bodies of photographic work on display at Contact visualise that philosophy.

In a special edition of Matching Mondays to celebrate the sale, which sees many of our products with up to 50% off, this week we are teaming up some bargains for you!

First up we have the always popular Keeping Watch New Era from Brooklyn’s very own Mishka. This is one of Mishka’s more well known logo variations, along with the Bear Mop and Death Adder. We have it in stock in sizes 7 1/4 and 7 1/2 and it usually retails at £35 but we have reduced it to £26 in the sale…

Matching perfectly with this is the Dune Tee from The Hundreds… A highlight piece from their Spring 2009 collection, which remarkably we still have in stock, at least in a size Small and X-Large. All Tee’s from The Hundreds usually go for £30, however all Spring 2009 Tee’s are now reduced by 50% to £15!

That means for just £41 you can pick up this match made in heaven!

Next in line for some sweet matching treatment is another Mishka fitted hat, this time the Resurrection New Era (which is also available in Black)… The Grey colour-way is available in size 7 1/2 and was previously £35 but has now been reduced to £26…

Can you believe it’s already Week 3 in our fantastic new series Matching Mondays? They say 3 is the magic number, which is why this week we are treating you to, er, 2 great outfits to choose from! Always wanting to keep you on toes, we at Wood are a lateral bunch at times, anyway no need for any more jabbering, let’s get on with the show!

First up, in a late but great tribute to Michael Jackson, we have this simple yet supremely dope Black and White combo…

Taking it from the top we have the In4mation Standard New Era in Black (£35) – this is one of the cleanest fitteds in the store right now and is a dead cert for the ‘I really should have copped that when you had it in’ award for August 09, don’t sleep!

Next we have the Midnight Cowboy Shirt (£70) from 10 Deep, a classic plaid shirt given the 1o Deep treatment, setting you apart from any old schmuck on the high street!
