Images of forthcoming Gourmet Fall/Winter ’12 product recently surfaced online, with the above Camo  Dignan making the boldest impression amongst both sneakerheads and Streetwear afficionados alike. Combining the unusual design aesthetic of the Dignan with a trendtastic fully Camo upper, this is a blazing hot sneaker and one we are really looking forward to see arrive at Wood this Fall/Winter season.

This Spring/Summer sees a welcome return at Wood for London stalwarts YMC (You Must Create). As one of our original brands when we opened our doors in 2004, it’s naturally great to have them back on board with us in 2012 – available at our Huddersfield store and of course online…

The collection is high on quality, with the emphasis on simple, well executed pieces that will shine in seasons to come. The colour palette running throughout the collection is eye-catching yet classic, utilising warm Spring/Summer tones with a subtle injection of all over print patterning, along with staple pieces such as the patchwork check shirt (above) and nylon zip hooded jacket.

This Summer sees the Nike Air Current make a welcome return and is set to arrive here at Wood in July. Following on from the reemergence of the Nike Air Flow, another updated retro runner, the Air Current is an interesting silhouette – very light and subtle in branding, however a predominantly neoprene upper invokes a powerful impact, with contrasting flashes of colour on the side panel of the shoe and a bold, white mid-sole.

As is often the case with their seasonal video look-books, 10 Deep have assembled this ‘behind the scenes’ styled visual for Spring ’12, highlighting key pieces from their forthcoming Spring ’12 collection.

Tom Pringle blesses us with his talents once again for this Spring/Summer ’12 video lookbook featuring Penfield, Universal Works, Herschel and Barbour pieces – all of which are now available here at Wood.

This Summer sees Nike add on to their extremely well received ‘Huarache Free’ series with this incredible Turquoise/Magenta colourway, coming soon here to Wood.

Comprised from a mostly Black upper, with both Turquoise and Magenta combining to lift this magical shoe and give it the POP it rightfully deserves. Rounded off with a simple yet effective White ‘Nike Free’ sole unit. Delivery is expected very early in May.

Hypebeast recently caught up with Universal Works designer and owner David Keyte for a look at what the brand has in store this Fall/Winter ’12. Endearingly, the primary influence in Keyte’s design stems from his father, perfectly exemplified by a Baker’s Jacket much like the one he sported to work when David was just a boy – although possibly not constructed from such premium fabrics!

This January, we jetted off to Berlin in search of some quality new brands to feast our eyes on – and there was plenty chance with trade shows Bread & Butter, Capsule, Seek and Premium all taking place while we were out there.

As you can see from the video we were introduced to an abundance of brands and people, as well as catch up with old friends over a beer or two! Have a see if you can identify what we have on the way for Autumn/Winter ’12 from this footage that Tom Pringle, our videographer for the trip, has put together.

The Nike Blazer is as perfect a blank canvas as you will find, such a clean and timeless silhouette. This season Nike will deliver their Blazer High in this precocious new colourway, featuring a Black ripstop nylon base, Volt laces and New Green heel/inner lining.
