Nom De Guerre - a fictitious name used when the person performs a particular social role

Nom De Guerre began in 2003 based in an unmarked, underground New York location , former home for the Black Panthers. Started by 4 partners, who at the time also ran the ISA boutique in Brooklyn. For their 2008 fall/ winter collection they were inspired by the World War II Military theme. The collection symbolizes a clean and refined outlook for men’s fashion. The colour palette brings in dark tones symbolizing elements of the American Military Theatre of Operations in Europe. Fabrics are traditional features of treated cotton to create a barrier against any elements and soft mixes of wool.
